Clotted cream, champagne, a breath of blush. The couple sent us one Pinterest board and a single word: restraint.
§The cake
Four tiers, hand-piped lace, a veil of edible sugar-silk across the top tier. Inside: vanilla bean sponge layered with raspberry-elderflower compote and white chocolate Chantilly.
§The pour
A single signature mocktail — Virgin Violet — served to every guest as they entered the reception. Butterfly pea, honey-lavender, edible gold. Two hundred glasses. Every one identical.
